Rah. I'm back from the Animania festival. It was great fun. There were so many great Cosplayers there. But I only saw two Hellsing themed ones. One was Walter and he looked great, he even had the gloves with wire coming out of the fingertips. I took a photo of him but I haven't uploaded it yet. The other one was Seras but I only saw her once and I didn't get a photo. Sob.

Um. I bought volume 8 of hellsing while I was there for $4. But it's in Japanese, so I can only read bits of it. It has Babycard in it.

Also I bought a crapload of stuff. I've been prancing around in a Animania shirt all day. It's got the little mascot on it. And a mouse pad for my computer. And badges. So many badges. One's got that "O RLY" owl on it and another has Anderson loling. x)
I also bought some prints of random pretty art. I won a sticker in a random art competition too. It said 'I heart anime' and it's still on my bag.

I stayed overnight in Sydney and then went shopping and stuff. I spent so much money. Then came the 5 hour trip back home listening to really loud music and singing all the way back. I was exhausted when I got back. So I slept for about 12 hours. XD And I spent all day today cleaning the house because tomorrow I'm throwing a party for my best friend who is turning 15 as well. Whee. It's pirate themed. I heart pirates.

Then next weekend we're having a yard/garage sale. Whee. Phew. So much stuff.

It's really hot here now. And I'm not wearing any pants. Which is probably more than you need to know.

Urm. And that's about it. Whoowhoot.

I've been cooking all afternoon because I was bored. I made a cake, muffins and a chocolate pie.

I have had an uneventful week. Australia on the other hand, has had three famous people die in the space of 4 days.
1. Steve Irwin (GODDAMN STINGRAYS)
2. Colin Theile (He wrote some good books ages ago.)
3. Peter Brock (Some racecar guy.)

Oh the pain. The agony. It's hilarious.
I will miss Irwin, however. I met him and his daughter, Bindi, once at Australia Zoo. They were in the wombat exhibit. He's that excited and happy in person. What he said to me if I remember correctly was when I commented that wombats were strange looking animals was:
"Yeah, but they're real friendly little rippers!" then he held one up and let me pat it. Wtf. Amusing. It's surreal though. Doesn't feel like he's dead. Because I keep seeing film of him on the TV. x_x

Um. Other news. It's getting closer to the animania festival. Again.

And I also bought some underwear with ducklings on it.

Also our rabbits (named Seras and Pip, by the way ;D) are having babies. Whootwhoot. They're building a nest together. Yes, rabbits build nests. We plan on naming all the babies Irwin. In honour of Steve.
